The University of Arizona Native American Advancement, Initiatives, and Research
A collaborative effort between three offices at the university dedicated to the advancement of Native faculty and students, and to the respectful and ethical research and engagement with Native nations.
Native American Initiatives (NAI)
To honor the Indigenous lands and Native Nations from which the University of Arizona has benefited by insuring the internal systems are in place to advance student success.

Initiated to increase Native American advancement and engagement and to increase the health and well being of Native American students, faculty, staff and tribal nations.

Native Peoples Technical Assistance Office (NPTAO)
The Office of Native American Initiatives was established in 2020 to guide and support University of Arizona endeavors serving Native American students and faculty.

The University of Arizona Native American Student Affairs
Provides culturally sensitive academic counseling and support services to Native American/Alaskan Native students enabling them to achieve academic excellence. We nurture student success by encouraging all students to proactively explore and shape our diverse campus community.
