Jordan Upshaw, MPH
Student Engagement Coordinator
Jordan Upshaw is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation from the St. Michaels community. She is of the Manygoats clan and born for the Folded Arms People clan. Jordan earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A., 2020) in Political Science with a minor in American Indian Studies, and her Master of Public Health degree (MPH, 2022). She is a current Doctor of Public Health Student in the Maternal and Child Health program at the University of Arizona.
Much of Jordan’s academic and professional experience has been in Policy, Public Health, and Youth/Education Development. She aims to use her experience and role to positively impact Native youth but also reduce disparities present in tribal communities.
